Temple Projects
The Temple of the Two Guides is a living work, shaped not only by worship but by the hands and devotion of those who care for it. Temple Projects follows the ongoing work of building, restoring, beautifying, and expanding our sacred spaces. From gardens and shrines to furnishings, artwork, and improvements to the sanctuary itself, each project is an act of stewardship—helping to create a worthy dwelling for the Gods and a lasting home for our community.
From Garage to Temple
The Temple of the Two Guides began in a place that was never intended to be a temple. The structure was originally a residential garage, which we gradually adapted to serve as a sacred space for worship, ritual, study, and community.
For years, however, there were limits to what could be done. The property was rented, and although the interior could be arranged and adapted for temple use, permanent alterations to the building and grounds were necessarily restricted. We learned to work with the space we had, transforming an ordinary structure as far as circumstances allowed into a functioning sanctuary.
That chapter has now changed.
With the recent purchase of the property, the Temple has a permanent home — and for the first time we are able to approach the building and surrounding grounds with a long-term vision.
Our goal is not simply to remodel an old garage. It is to gradually transform the entire property into a fully functioning temple and sacred precinct: a place designed for worship, ritual, instruction, hospitality, pilgrimage, and the continuing life of our religious community.

Transforming the Pronaos into a sacred place of welcome, offering, and preparation through the creation of the communal altar, Temple library, Dokana-framed entrance to the Naos, and decorative improvements throughout the space.
